I've downloaded quite a few files with no audio problems. However, I just downloaded two mpeg2 cartoons and neither has sound. One was, "Falling Hare", the other was, "Fresh Hare":

Windows Movie Player says there was an error downloading the codec and plays them without sound. I imported them into Premiere and neither show an audio track.

Can anyone please help? Thanks very much

Hi,

I just downloaded the mpeg2 for Falling Hare and it plays just fine (with sound) in VLC Media Player. VLC is free to download and plays a completely amazing variety of video files that you can find on the archive. (videolan.org)

Hi Alexis,

Thanks very much, it works perfectly. It's much better than Windows Media Player. It also plays mpeg movies in 352x480 resolution that need fiddly adjustments in WMP. I appreciate your help.

Best Regards,

Michael
